Madhya Pradesh hosts the World Sangeet Tansen Festival

- Madhya Pradesh hosts the World Sangeet Tansen Festival from 25 to 30 December.
- The 97th edition of the World Sangeet Tansen festival began in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
- The city will host a five-day World Sangeet Tansen festival from December 25 to December 30 at Gwalior.
- The program's stage was built around the theme of Omkareshwar's Siddhanath temple.
- The music festival will feature many artists from India as well as from other countries.
- The first seven concerts took place on the stage set up at Tansen's mausoleum and Mohammad Ghaus' tomb.
- On December 30, the eighth concert will take place on the banks of the Jhilmil river in Behat (Tansen's birthplace).
- On the same day, the last brief concert will be held at Gwalior Fort.
- Ms. Usha Thakur, the State Culture Minister, will preside over the event. During the inauguration ceremony, the National Kalidas Awards will be presented.
