Sahdev Yadav elected as the President of the IWLF
Highlights:
- Sahdev Yadav, former Secretary-General of IWLF, was elected as the President of the Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF).
- The election also saw the appointment of S.H. Anande Gowda and Naresh Sharma because of the new Secretary-General & Treasurer of IWLF.
- Also, 10 new Vice Presidents, 4 Joint Secretaries & 7 executive committee members were also elected.
- The election was conducted by official Narinder Paul Kaushik, Delhi District Court.
- Rakesh Gupta, joint secretary of, Indian Olympic Association was present as the IOA observer.
- Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu had won India's first-ever Olympic medal during the Tokyo Games when she claimed a silver within the 49kg category.
