Chief Economic Adviser K V Subramanian Resigned
Highlights:
- KV Subramanian, Chief Economic Adviser (CEA), has chosen to resign after completing his three-year term within the Finance Ministry of India.
- KV Subramanian took over the command of Chief Economic Adviser on 2018 7 December.
- The appointment was made almost five months after his forerunner Arvind Subramanian had stepped down.
- KV Subramanian, beginning of his career, was a part of the expert panels for the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and reserve bank of India (RBI).
- Subramanian has been well-versed with temporary Private sector jobs in top corporates that include ICICI Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and Tata Consultancy Services.
