- The Theme for International Day Of Girl Child 2021 is ‘Digital generation. Our generation.’
- UN General Assembly adopted 11 October as International Day for the girl child in 2012, 11 October.
- The day is celebrated by sharing stories, blogs, videos of talented young girls who are tech trailblazers while collectively amplifying our call to action to expand these pathways for every girl, everywhere.
