New Tiger Reserve In Chhattisgarh approved by National Tiger Conservation Authority
Highlights:
- Guru Ghasidas park & Tamor Pingla Wildlife Sanctuary are approved as tiger reserves now by National Tiger Conservation Authority.
- National Tiger Conservation Authority has approved the Chhattisgarh government’s proposal to declare few parts as Tiger Reserve.
- The combined areas of the Guru Ghasidas park & Tamor Pingla Wildlife Sanctuary are a Tiger Reserve now.
- It's located within the northern part of the state, bordering Madhya Pradesh & Jharkhand.
- This can be the 4th Tiger Reserve in Chhattisgarh
- The other three are Udanti-Sitanadi, Achanakmar, Indravati.
