India and Saudi Arabia signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 29 June 2026 to strengthen bilateral cooperation in water resources management. The agreement was formalised on the sidelines of the inaugural Saudi Water Week conference held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking a major expansion of the India-Saudi Arabia strategic partnership.

- Key Signatories: The pact was signed by Dr. Suhel Khan, India's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture. Fahad Suri, the Consul General of India in Jeddah, was also present.
- Strategic Objectives: The MoU targets long-term water security and climate resilience in both nations by tackling shared water-deficit challenges.
