- The 13th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) started on 7 January 2015 with the inaugural session of the Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
- This year's PBD is being held in Gandhinagar Gujarat.
- Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) is world's largest annual gathering of people of Indian origin and is aimed at enhancing networking and reinforcing commercial linkages.
- The three-day diaspora conclave is being held at Gandhinagar from January 7-9 to mark the centenary of foremost Indian diaspora member, Mahatma Gandhi’s return from South Africa to India.
