Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharata Abhiyan - PMGDISHA
PMGDISHA is a central sponsored scheme.
It initiated a campaign to achieve 100% digital literacy in the digital village.
Making one person in every family digitally literate is one of the integral components of the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India.
Under the campaign, a three day certification drive for rural citizens, particularly women and deprived communities, will be performed for a few days in September 2021.
The drive was launched under the PMGDISHA Scheme, GOI's flagship digital literacy program.
In addition, the Common Service Centres (CSC) also proposed that all digital villages be 100% digitized.
