Indo- KyrgyzstanRelation : Both nations have Signed Four Agreements


  • India and Kyrgyzstan on 12 July signed four agreements.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev were signed the agreements.
  • The agreements are including in defence and culture.
  • The agreement on defence cooperation - related to defence, security, military education and training, conduct of joint military exercises, exchange of experience and information, exchange of military instructors and observers.
  • The second is a MoU and Cooperation in the field of elections.
  •  The third is a MoU between Kyrgyzstan's economy ministry and the Bureau of Indian Standards on cooperation in the field of standards.
  • The fourth agreement deals with culture.
