World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is on 15th June

  • The principal objective of this day is to grant an possibility for communities round the globe to promote a better appreciation of abuse and forget about of older men and women by developing focus of the cultural, social, monetary and demographic strategies affecting elder abuse and neglect.
  • This awareness day was formally identified by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2011 bypassing the resolution 66/127 of the United Nations following a request from the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA).
